A police investigating team from Police Headquarters, together with other relevant stakeholders, is set to travel to Kasese District on Wednesday, September 23rd, to meet and listen to victims of HURT 8.
According to a statement issued by the Rwenzori East Police spokesperson, ASP Maate Elly, the team will meet the affected victims at Kasese Central Police Station starting at 8:00 a.m.
Police say the victims’ presence and cooperation during the engagement will help determine the way forward in the matter.
Authorities have therefore called upon all those affected to attend the meeting and present their concerns to the investigating team.
