In her address, the Minister emphasised the importance of providing young people with quality and practical education that equips them with skills relevant to the changing needs of society.

She stressed that education should not only prepare students to obtain academic qualifications but should also empower them to become productive members of society and contribute to national development.

Hon. Akifeza further encouraged graduates to use the knowledge and skills acquired at university to create opportunities for themselves and others, rather than viewing education solely as a pathway to formal employment.
